On friday there is a release for an exhibition called “My Studio” done by Aplace at Spy Bar. I was asked to take a picture of the studio.
Tony Cederteg has done a special made Cederteg publication including photography by Ann-Sofie Back, Bruce LaBruce, Matthew Stone + Terence Koh and myself.
These Swollen stuff from Miss Front – Ann-Sofie Back is just fantastic.
This Radar place will not be a fashion blogg but Sod will flash stuff Sod like all the way. Ann-Sofie is just real and Sod hope her mind never goes “unsubversive” and that she keeps on keeping it sharp.
And these Aeon Flux shoulder things are just so spot on. Sod would love to see them live on some none modelish none fashionista type of woman.
I have been a big fan since I saw Blue Velvet for the first time.
I have seen everything – from that Alphabetical film school thing and on. And I love it all. I do not complain over some strange or bad episodes of Twin Peaks and I even enjoy Dune a lot. The stranger the better and bad – never.
Inland Empire was just was I expected it to be. Ok at some points the mind starts losing concentration but I see it as a play with our minds – it is all apart of the journey and i just enjoy it.
He did it in DV and off course it works perfect. I love the aesthetics – that raw feeling. And you can really feel they did not have to care about the cost of film.
Went to Berns / Stockholm last night to see Cirkus.
Nice to see some flesh that really are alive and kicking. Real feelings, people and lots of energy. Stockholm should be proud of having citizens like these – we need it.
Gets me back to sort of 94 and I enjoy being there – but still timeless and fresh.
